Location:As I said, location is very important. You do not
want to be far from the parks and waste time each day coming and going.
On the other hand there is much more to location than simple distance.
Some of the developments are not aging well. Some are downright ugly. You'll be happy we did. Latest appliances - nifty features - and an all "new" feel. Balancing:
- we have chosen the Rt. 27 corridor. "...It was convenient to the parks yet it was great to come to a peaceful and quiet spacious house after a day at the parks.. ...Thanks for giving us a vacation to remember! We’ll definitely be back. Jamie and Frank R. Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
We think
you will agree. Here's why: The Rt. 27 corridor.Route 27 runs north/south just on the western edge of the Disney Conservation area surrounding the park. Disney is clearly visible over much of Rt. 27 in these parts. Now's a
good time to click on the map to the right and take a quick look at the
area.
See you again
in a few minutes...
Not that long ago, Rt. 27 between Haines City in the south and Cleremont in the north ran through mile after mile of orange groves. Much remains but with the twin pressures of the explosive growth of tourism and decline of citrus prices, farmers are now "growing" roofs. Now you see many high quality small developments ["estates" in eurospeak] set back a-ways from Rt. 27 and carved out of the orange groves. Some are built in and around new golf courses while others back up to still-operating orange groves. All are peaceful, safe neighborhoods beautifully landscaped. Many developments feature lakes, others are built in a neo-spanish style. Very nice. The set back from Rt. 27 ensures a quiet environment. Along with our staff, we live in these developments. In fact, about 10% of the occupants of these developments are residents. A perfect anchor to create a safe and stable environment. Plenty of locals about to keep a discrete eye on things.
The developments: There are some 30 developments stretching from Haines City in the South to Cleremont in the North. For various reasons we judge some developments not suitable for vacation rentals. As for the rest, we have rental homes in most of the remainder. Each development numbering 40 to 50 houses has a recognizable style - clues are often in the name - Tivoli, Calabray Parc, Hampton Lakes, Southern Dunes and so on.
Wow!! What a value! Your villa was great; new, clean, expertly maintained and convenient. I can’t say enough about the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Less than 15 minutes from the driveway to the time I was sitting on the train in the Magic Kingdom. Your villas are the best value for the money in Orlando. We will be back, expect my friends and family soon. Jim H. Ballston Spa, New York |
